Our client is an award winning remediation contractor based in the South West, who offers practical solutions for brownfield regeneration and contaminated land problems. About the opportunity:
Based upon current and anticipated workload, my client is recruiting permanently for a Project Manager to oversee remediation and earthworks projects throughout the South West. As a Project Manager will join the company’s existing management team, reporting directly to the Operations Director, coordinating activities with the foreman and client.
You will be responsible for managing the technical, operational and commercial aspects of all remediation projects, ensuring they are managed within time and budget. As a Project Manager, you will have a clear understanding of the value of the contact and its duration and you will have a clear understanding of the client and project expectations and requirements. In addition to this, you will have experience / aptitude to support with Bids.
About the requirements:
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must hold a degree / HNC or equivalent in a construction related discipline (geology, civil engineering or similar). Given this is a senior position, my client is targeting professionals with a minimum of 8 years’ contracting experience within the remediation or earthworks sector and this must have been gained whilst working for a contractor in the UK. Furthermore, you must hold an SMSTS, CSCS and WAMITAB. In addition to this, you will need have experience / aptitude to support with Bids.
Please note: As this is a permanent position, it is vital that you can demonstrate stability of employment throughout their career, holding each previous appointment for 3 years.
About the salary / rewards:
For this position, we are targeting candidates looking to earn anywhere between £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability.There will also be a generous package offered – fully funded commercial vehicle, Pension, Healthcare, Bonus in addition to other benefits associated with a large successful company.
