Whitetree are looking for an experienced P3M Consultant to lead our developing P3M capability. We're looking for a self-starter with energy to grow with us and the confidence to hit the ground running. The Head of P3M will develop and lead our P3M offering, one of three core service lines working across defence, security and IT sectors. Your accountabilities will include hands on delivery of consultancy services, business development and strategic planning activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced P3M Consultant with a strong foundation in UK defence to become a part of and help shape a new and growing company. You must be flexible to travel ideally with a current SC, or willing to undergo the Security Vetting process. Working alongside the Operations Director core responsibilities will include: 

  • Providing exceptional portfolio, programme and project management consultancy services
  • Ensuring projects are completed to timescales, quality objectives and budgets
  • Supporting the achievement of Whitetree business objectives and the strategic plan
  • Leading the Whitetree business winning activities within P3M, including Whitetree client visits, account management and growth
  • Technical leadership on major Whitetree projects, tenders and quotations
  • Taking active steps to safeguard Whitetree customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Exploring prospects for alliances and partnerships to exploit new opportunities
  • Team leadership, work allocation, performance evaluation, recruitment, training and mentoring

Required experience & qualifications

  • Working knowledge of P3M principles and the project lifecycle
  • Experience working as a Programme Management Consultant within UK Defence
  • A strong track record of working with multiple clients and complex projects
  • Practiced in managing multiple technical projects from bid / design stages to production
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience
  • Tools: Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Desirable qualifications: Prince2, Primavera P6, APMP
